APSC CCE Eligibility Criteria 2024

APSC CCE Selection Process 2024
Three steps make up the selection process for the APSC CCE Recruitment 2024, including:
Preliminary Exam: The Prelims Exam is a qualifying examination consisting of two papers; hence, the marks earned there will not be included in the final merit list. Exam questions will be multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with a quarter of a mark deducted for each incorrect response.
Mains Exam: The Mains Exam is the second phase. Those who pass the preliminary exam will receive an invitation to the main exam. The Mains Exam comprises of 6 papers of 250 marks each. The test is structured like a traditional essay or objective kind. The qualifying candidates must show up for the personality test and interview.
Interview: Candidates who manage to secure good marks in the Mains Exam, will appear for Interview in the ratio of 1:3 against the number of vacancies advertised.
APSC CCE Salary 2024
The 2024 APSC CCE Salary varies according on the role, with each having a separate pay range and additional benefits. Jobs falling under the Pay Band 4 (PB-4) with a pay scale ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,10,000 along with a Grade Pay of ₹13,300 include Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Block Development Officer, Superintendent of Taxes, Superintendent of Excise, Superintendent of Assam Finance Service (Jr. Grade II), and more.
However, jobs in Pay Band 3 (PB-3) with a pay scale of ₹22,000 to ₹97,000 and a Grade Pay of ₹9,400 are classified as Inspector of Taxes, Inspector of Labor, Assistant Employment Officer, Sub Registrar, Assistant Accounts Officer (Assam Accounts Service), and Inspecting Auditor in Elementary Education.
